In warehouse management, the legacy Rivile SVS module was replaced with Rivile MSCAN—an online solution that enables more flexible, mobile, and convenient day-to-day operations.

At the same time, it is important for the company to ensure business continuity, maintain direction, and strengthen its position in the market; therefore, the processes that support daily growth were naturally reassessed.


The long-standing partnership between RIVILE and UNICOS has continued since 2011, making the shift in warehouse management a natural step in the next stage of collaboration. The previously used SVS module was replaced with MSCAN, which meets today’s needs for mobility, flexibility, and rapid deployment.

The route selection was also improved according to the client’s needs, helping to save warehouse staff time. Such solutions enable smooth daily use of the system and reduce the number of redundant steps.

Another clear advantage of Rivile MSCAN is its fast deployment. Compared to similar solutions, which can sometimes take months to implement, Rivile MSCAN can be launched significantly faster. The solution immediately met the client’s needs, and its adaptation to specific processes took around two weeks.


A smooth start was also ensured by the preparation of a test database for the client, where the team could try out processes in advance, become familiar with the workflow, and prepare for the launch. This preparation allowed the solution to be used with confidence from the very first days.


“The transition to Rivile MSCAN was smooth: the test database helped us prepare for the launch — the team tested the processes in advance. The system was operational immediately, and additional adjustments took only a couple of weeks,” shares the UNICOS Director.


It is also important that Rivile MSCAN is a web-based solution, meaning no installations are required. This simplifies deployment, reduces the technical burden, and enables a quick start. Although certain process changes were introduced in warehouse operations, they were not complex or difficult for the client to adopt. The key was to become familiar with the new system logic, while the solution itself, due to its intuitiveness, quickly became convenient for everyday use.

Convenient to use on mobile devices

Mobility also played an important role in this project. The client acquired new handheld devices, which MSCAN adapted to effectively. This enabled the team to work conveniently where warehouse operations actually take place—quickly locating item positions, accurately picking items, recording picked goods directly at the shelf, and instantly transferring information to the RIVILE GAMA system.

A smooth transition without additional burden

A significant advantage for the client was also that they did not need to handle stock transfer independently. The data was automatically migrated to the new system, making the transition simple and requiring minimal internal resources.
