GARDU GARDU – Smoother Processes with Rivile ERP POS Solution

One of the most popular culinary shows in Lithuania – GARDU GARDU – which ran for nearly a decade, brought together a community of food lovers and cooking enthusiasts, creating a wealth of recipes for various dishes and treats. Chef Gediminas Endriukaitis and his team expanded this concept by opening the GARDU GARDU store.

Daily Challenges

Gediminas and his team began with grocery sales, focusing on imported canned goods. Through experimenting with the assortment, they noticed that customers preferred locally made products. This led to shelves being stocked with farmer-sourced meats, baked goods, eggs, and eventually, freshly prepared olives. Gediminas follows flavor trends, listens to customer preferences, and carefully selects products that allow shoppers to easily assemble a gourmet dinner basket for home or a visit, while always discovering something new.

In 2024, GARDU GARDU decided to expand its retail network and prepared to open a new store in Vilnius. However, inefficient cash register operations were a concern. The store sells both packaged and weighed goods, beverages with a deposit system, and also carries out production operations – such as preparing olives and other snacks. To optimize the sale of weighed products, they decided to look for a solution to integrate scales into the accounting system. Unfortunately, the previously used system couldn’t offer a suitable solution, and it was important to find one before the expansion.

Fast System Implementation

The company Apskaitos ratas, which provides accounting and IT services to GARDU GARDU, recommended Rivile ERP as a modern platform suitable for retail after conducting an analysis. Additionally, Rivile specialists introduced their newly developed POS (point-of-sale) module.

The first meeting with Rivile ERP representative Vaida Jankauskienė happened quickly, the system was prepared for launch, and the team calmly awaited the data migration day.

“The inventory data transfer was done after closing the register. The next morning, the fiscal provider was changed, equipment installed, configuration completed, and the first customer was served,” says Martin Pachomov from Apskaitos ratas.
According to him, the project seemed a bit risky, but the full involvement of the Rivile ERP team in the data migration and system launch left no doubt about its success.
